Coverfront record cabinet - spray-painted
The colour on your screen is an approximation. We paint to the RAL Classic reference, and satin or matte and the light in your room change how a colour looks, so check it on a physical RAL chart before you order. More about colours.
This is not an existing RAL Classic color. Check the number (e.g. RAL 9010) or browse the color chart via the link above.
One shipping rate per order, however many columns
One box per column, so it fits through your door
Designed and made in the Netherlands
The same Coverfront, sprayed edge to edge in one colour. White, black or any RAL Classic colour, in satin or matte, all at the same price: the shade of your wall if you want it to disappear, or something loud enough to compete with the sleeves.
Every size is built from the same element, 37 cm wide and 37.5 cm deep. Start with what you need now and add a column later: it will line up. Want to see the wood? Take birch plywood, with the same size, capacity and assembly.

Shipping and delivery
Shipping is one flat rate per order, whatever the size of the cabinet: €49 within the Netherlands, €89 to most of the European Union, €149 to Cyprus and Malta. You see the exact amount at checkout, before you pay.
Your cabinet is shipped as one box per column, so even a five-wide wall gets through a normal doorway and up a normal staircase. Everything ships tracked and insured, so transport damage is covered.
The delivery time for the size you selected is shown in the specifications above. Spray-painted cabinets are painted to order and ship within 7 working weeks.
Assembly
You assemble the cabinet yourself with ordinary tools: a drill-driver, two Allen keys, a spirit level and a tape measure. Every box contains pre-drilled panels and numbered parts, and the hardware for the whole order comes in one bag. Nothing has to be cut or glued on site.
You level the bases first, then build one column at a time and join them, so you can put up one column today and add another later. Four adjustable feet per column take care of an uneven floor. There is an assembly video to follow along (made with an earlier version, so a few small details differ).
Returns and warranty
You have a fourteen-day right of withdrawal if you bought as a consumer in the European Union: fourteen days from the day it arrives, no reason needed.
A cabinet sprayed in a RAL colour of your choice keeps that right. Only work built to your own drawing, or a size that is not in this shop, is excluded by law, because it is made for you and cannot be sold to anyone else. Return shipping is at your own cost.
Separate from that, you have the statutory guarantee that the cabinet is what you could reasonably expect it to be. If it is not, we repair or replace it at no cost to you, for at least two years from delivery and in practice a good deal longer. If something arrives damaged or a part is missing, that is on us: send a photo and we will sort it out.

Will my turntable fit on top?
The top is 37.5 cm deep and 37 cm wide per element. A cabinet one compartment high puts the top at 89 cm, which is worktop height and comfortable to cue a record standing up.
A turntable needs at least two elements side by side at the same height, one or two compartments high. That gives you room for a full-size deck and the record you are about to play.
Honestly: a dust cover needs clearance behind the cabinet to open, because the hinges usually sit behind the plinth. The trick we use at home is to stand the cabinet against a skirting board so there is a gap behind it, and set the deck slightly forward. Send us the make and model of your deck and we will tell you straight whether it works.
Not sure which size to take
A column one compartment high holds around 140 records, and every extra compartment adds about 60 per column. Most people underestimate how much they buy in a year, so give yourself a little room.
Every size in the shop shows how many records it holds and its exact measurements. Start from what you own now, add a few years of buying, and pick from there. You can always add a column later.
